Just got back from one of my favorite places ever, Algorta outside Bilbao. Well the whole area is fantastic, Getxo, Sopelana, Leioa. Amazing skatespots, beautiful landscape, nice climate, friendly people, great surfing and then La Kantera - the greatest skatepark located on the beach in an old ruin. Just beautiful. Algortas pool has drawn people from all over the world and there isn’t many of the top pros that haven’t visited La Kantera, but it is really the old classic spanish style bowl that is what La Kantera is all about.

Me and my friends came here the first time in 2002 with our motorhome and returned every summer until we built our own concrete park here in Malmö in 2005. Anyway it was amazing to be back and here’s a few shots from a few years back.

This issue we see a sick article about Malmö and its D.I.Y scene. We get to see photos from all the spots we have built here from the start of 2002. Together with my photographs there is an interview with mr D.I.Y Pontus Alv who talks about how everything came about and so on. A very inspirational read for sure and hopefully the photos will add to that. We will see photos of Stefan Toth, Daniel Håkansson, Marcus Olsson, John Magnusson, Jerome Campbell, Pudi, Martin Ottosson and ofcourse Pontus Alv.

Testing, one two. These days you can film with your camera. First internet and now this. Crazy.

Varje år ger STF ut en årsbok på ett speciellt tema. Föregående år har de betat av ämnen som Brott, Fjäll och med all säkerhet sjöar. Detta året har STF inriktat sig på Svenska Parker och Malmös stolthet Stapelbäddsparken har fått ett alldeles eget kapitel. Foto av mig.
