Kingpin #74

Wednesday, February 24th, 2010

Flicked through the new issue of Kingpin #74 this morning on my way to the french alps. Lots of work to be done here but the weather forecast looks grim. Nevermind. In Kingpin i shot a couple of bangers of polish ripper Michal Juras and a lofty ollie from belgium’s Phil Zwijsen.

Kalas med Klez

Another article of mine from the latest issue of Giftorm. This is from Pontus shoe release party and Wild in the Parks in Copenhagen and the general skating that went down in those days. Eniz Fazliov and Jo Lorenz came over and we had some great skating around Malmö and Copenhagen. Eniz is just amazing, pure talent and can skate whatever he likes.

Dubai

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010

New Giftorm is out and I put together this 18 page piece about our Dubai trip last year. Good memories for sure and I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. Pool on the roof, beach park across the street and a sick Libyan restaurant downstairs from where we were living. Let’s not forget the perfect street spots in Abu Dhabi either.

Vert Attack 4

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010

The past weekend we hosted Vert Attack 4 at Bryggeriet here in Malmö. The outcome was fantastic with almost 70 participants from all over Europe. This midvert celebration comp has really hit hard on the European vert scene and everyone seems to love it. Our vert ramp is a bit dated, so a bit smaller and less intimidating than the modern vertramp monsters. This really attracts skaters from all different backgrounds, not just for “vert jocks” basically, and the skating is much more entertaining and fun to watch. Andy Scott skated like a god and showed us all how beautiful it all can be.
